ABOUT ABOUT

During Theatrefest, RU Theatre & Music welcomes local middle and high school students to spend a day learning from RU faculty and local professionals. Students spend the afternoon in fun-filled and illuminating workshops, choosing from topics like acting, auditioning, musical theatre, and technical theatre. In the evening, students will enjoy dinner and attend a performance of James and the Giant Peach. Theatrefest is perfect for any student who loves theatre and wants to take their skills to the next level!

Theatrefest begins at 12:30 in the RAC Theatre. Students will attend three workshops and then have a group dinner. Theatrefest includes a comp ticket for the 7:30pm performance of James and the Giant Peach.
